Didn’t want to be premature a few months back when this was published but after finishing this season and looking forward to the next, healthier than I’ve ever been, I must say how grateful I am to be back coaching the sport I love. 🙏 @tidelandshealth mycarolinalife.com/miracle-r…

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
After 20 incredible years of leadership, mentorship, championships, and changing lives, Coach John Pigatti has decided to step away from the sidelines as Head Boys Basketball Coach at South Suburban College.
Words truly can’t describe what this man means to so many people — players, families, coaches, and communities. Personally, I absolutely love this man because of what he has done for young Black men through basketball, education, mentorship, and opportunity. Privately, I affectionately call him “White Jesus” 👊🏽🤣🖤 because his impact has been nothing short of legendary.
And the numbers? They speak louder than words:
🏆 Career Record: 572-111 (.84)
🏆 Highest winning percentage and record among ANY college coach over the last 20 years
🏆 National Champion
🏆 Hall of Famer
🏆 Builder of men, not just basketball players
But statistics only tell part of the story.
His true legacy lives in the countless young men he guided toward degrees, scholarships, four-year schools, careers, and better futures.
South Holland will never be the same. Region IV basketball will never be the same.
Job well done, my good and faithful servant.
Coach Pigatti… thank you for everything.
You will truly be missed. 🖤🙏🏽🏀@JohnPigatti @DailySouthtown @SouthtownSports @scottybscout

Coaches: The best video on “winning” you will hear. @IndianaMBB Bob Knight filmed this for @adidasHoops in the mid 80’s & it is still timeless—and priceless. 18 minutes long. Enjoy this over the weekend

Přesná střelba Američanů dovedla Olomoucko k prvnímu semifinálovému bodu v sérii s Nymburkem. Obhájci titulu ale dál drží náskok 2:1 na zápasy.
