We have coaches tossing out “offers” they have no intention of honoring and players posting “offers” they cannot accept. Wild times we are in.

If you’re an adult that hates on kids posting and celebrating a D3 offer, you are one miserable person.

At D3 we don't have a recruiting shut down. We recruit 365 24/7. Ask my wife.... a vacation isn't a vacation, I am still recruiting or dealing with my players. No off days when you have goals, a standard, and deal with humans you love and care for.

There are public D3 schools in multiple states, including New York, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and some others.
Also, there is no way of knowing whether you can or cannot afford a school unless you go through the process. Ex: filling out & submitting the FAFSA

A college OFFER…. is still A COLLEGE OFFER!!!!! There are kids who would kill to play college sports.

Players even if you are not interested in a school please make sure to respond to the coach & be honest. Don’t burn bridges!
Coaches if you are recruiting a player & are no longer interested, Please be honest & let them know.
Goes both ways & shows a level of mutual respect.

Recruiting Myths vs. Reality ⬇️
Myth: D3 is a “safety” option when D1/D2 fall through
Reality: Many talented athletes choose D3 for better fit & stronger academics
Myth: No athletic scholarships = you’ll pay more
Reality: +80% of D3 athletes get non-athletic aid. Run the numbers before you rule out D3
Myth: Coaches will reach out if you’re good enough
Reality: Transfer portal pressure means D3 rosters fill faster w/ proactive recruits
Myth: Virtual recruiting was just a COVID thing
Reality: Personalized emails + short highlight videos still win, bc D3 coaches are busier than ever

Recruits, think you're too good for D3?
Ask yourself: Could you play for @ScrantonWBB?
- 32-0 record this season
- Beat D1 Pitt to start the year
- Ended NYU's 91 game win streak
- Playing for a National Title today

🧠 Real Recruiting — Girls Basketball 🏀
Just heard about a girl who called a Division I program to confirm her commitment… only to find that her spot was gone. Verbal talks aren’t official—nothing counts until it’s in writing.
We’re making progress. Thank you to those that contributed to our program. Please continue spreading the word and helping our women reach this goal.
