Kara Lawson shares the mindset you need to have whether you win or lose. "In moments of victory or defeat, it's really important to be respectful." "Whether we win or whether we lose, we're gonna have respectful interaction." It means being a person of character. Then she explained why she didn't celebrate immediately: "The time to celebrate when you're the winning team - you always have time to do that." "Your time to congratulate and to show respect is in the immediacy, right there." "That's why I stayed calm. Because that's what's most important - that you show respect to the people you compete against." Your class and character is always on display for yourself and your team. "We want to be a program that wins with class and loses with class." How you handle victory says as much about you as how you handle defeat. (🎥March Madness )
