Congratulations to Emily Steinmetz on being named IIAAA District 3 High School Athletic Director of the Year!
Recognized by her peers, Emily’s leadership sets the tone for the Falcons and is the heartbeat of what makes PMHS Athletics run.

Appreciate you coming in Logan! Grateful for the coverage @PrepHoopsIN provides across the state!
Thank you to @CoachMBurris and @PMFalconsHoops for having me in for Open Gym this afternoon
Falcons will be a hard nosed scrappy team with good length on the wings. Loved the energy and effort out of the guys today!

Back in the gym for a preseason workout at Perry Meridian seeing the Falcons and first year Head Coach Mike Burris
The Wing trio of Junior Jaden Porter, Senior Davonte Rhodes, and Sophomore Riley New look to lead the way this season

Haven’t even gotten to live action and it’s easy to see why 6’3” Sophomore W Riley New is generating a lot of buzz.
Noticeably stronger than the last time I saw him back in the spring. Glides across the court and is a great athlete that can shoot it from distance. Such an intriguing young prospect

My first look at Junior Guard Jaylen Delaney and he’s been one of the more impressive players in the 5v5 portion at open gym
Stronger guard that’s incredibly quick with the ball and has been a pest defensively. Tempo pushing guard that gets in the lane and finishes well

Kelvin Sampson says the team has no distractions:
“I think the last eight years, we’ve won about 240-something games. It’s because we have no distractions. We’re consistent. The one thing about this program is our consistency.”
“I don’t recruit problems. I learned a long time ago — if you don’t want problems then don’t recruit them. It’s not an accident that we have great kids.”
“If I don’t want to coach them, then that means I don’t mind coaching against them. And a lot of the guys we take, I don’t mind coaching against them. Check our record.”
Loved watching Braxten play today! He played well today. Made shots and had a handful of assists but most importantly went 2-0 with his teammates!

Won’t lie. I haven’t watched a ton of WNBA until tonight. Caitlin Clark is worth the watch. Get the ball in her hands and good things usually will happen.
