Kevin Garnett tells Tony Allen and Zach Randolph that a single open run he had with a group of NBA players including Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen made him realize he wasn't going to college and would instead enter the NBA straight from high school. He noted that making just one bucket during that run changed everything for him.

God has u right where he wants u. Take inventory of everyone around so u know who's who. Believe when someone shows u who they are & don't think that u can change people. You've got to learn from all these lefts to stay right where God wants u. #CoachPrime

The NBA today will spend $2–5M evaluating talent early to avoid a $50–60M mistake later. Guards 6’4” and under are plentiful and REPLACEABLE every single year. Size buys patience; scoring gets attention. ADAPTABILITY, PROFESSIONALISM and IMPACTING WINNING sustain careers.

LOL— walked in the union on campus; and the students yelled “Coach Smith, you are on the electronic board for your wellness class”. I had to get a photo. Always a blessing to uplift the culture and morale of our campus’ students, faculty, & staff. Huston-Tillotson University💛

It's never been easier to make it to the NBA, but it's also never been harder to stay.
Must read for college players & coaches!
I was completely sold on Rob Dillingham as a lottery pick.
Two years later, three teams have moved on, and he's out of the NBA.
Are teams becoming less patient with young players, or did scouts like myself simply get it wrong?
