One of the best parts of baseball is competing against coaches you respect. Tonight we play a team led by a good coach and a good person. No drama. No nonsense. Just two teams competing the right way. Looking forward to a great baseball game. @CoachMarcusHill @CoachMurph21
One thing I can say confidently with 100% certainty is the best players I’ve ever coached all wanted to learn more and be coached hard in their teenage years. Every single one.
Come and get him
Great outing at diamond nation today. Landed the slider all day. Here’s some clips of a fastball to slider mix. (2IP 4ks 0 hits FB:88)

All we’re saying is if you’re gonna hit for an hour and not lift just hit for a half hour and lift for a half hour and you’ll be better.
Gonna be a good one

Two random non baseball related observations as a parent of young children that make me feel like an old man:
1) 18yo me would make fun of how mad 46 yo me gets when somebody drives fast down my street especially when the kids are outside.
2) there are seemingly no driving rules anymore. No signals, no stop signs, running red lights, swerving in and out of traffic. It’s like you have to keep Barry Sanders vision when driving with kids in the car shits getting a little too dangerous these days.
Anybody else with old man get off my lawn observations?
I took the 16u tournament most valuable pitcher @LeoLaChanc7o out after 6 strong and 90 pitches yesterday. He wanted to finish. I’d rather watch him pitch in college.
@devenmorgan I hope Landon can feel his arm tomorrow. Pitched in 5 of 6 games in 3 days for 200 pitches total. 11u for crying out loud.

From the outside looking in…if you’re a 28 and don’t get a call on 8/1 it’s doesn’t mean as much as it used to as schools now are making decisions later due to not knowing how the portal will change their roster year to year. Just keep working and you’ll end up where you should

If you don’t commit to playing at a high level and then act like you do, you will be exposed quickly and it will be embarrassing. You see, here in the real world, you either do what it takes or you go home. Delusion runs rampant. Some of y’all need a detour around fantasy island.

Red Sox reviving the “short game.” Forcing teams to play faster higher level catch than they are prepared for.

College coaches that follow me, I have one of the best 28 CF in the area with @ArmaanGarbera. He runs a 6.7 60, has a plus arm with 4 OF assists, hits .397 with 17 rbi (mostly from the leadoff spot) 20R and 15SB. High academic he is absolutely a college outfielder. I would recommend following him and contacting him if you have a need in the 28 class.
