The best teams have reserves who star in their roles and starters who practice like they're trying to make the team.

Best of luck to everyone receiving their A-level results today; to our @BristolUni Talent Academy players going on to your next stage, wish you all the very best and to those (hockey players) hoping to come to study at @BristolUni, we look forward to welcoming you.

On 14/15 August @pauldud58 is continuing his fundraising in memory of Ben - walking the length of 10 of Benโs favourite golf courses around @DingleCoombe in aid of @bloodcancer_uk and @BristolUni Performance Sport. Do sponsor if you can justgiving.com/crowdfunding/โฆ

The legacy of Ben Dudley continues - instrumental in the bid for an โฆ@EnglandHockeyโฉ Talent Academy and today โฆ@BristolHockeyโฉ โฆ@BristolHockeyTAโฉ complete their first TA cup in Nottingham with the girls playing โฆ@SurbitonHCโฉ and boys โฆ@TBBTalentAcaโฉ
Also very proud of these boys who showed resilience, determination, courage, teamship as well as a lot of skill to finish on a high having played top opposition at TA cup.
Well done everyone, thank you all for this awesome year.
The @BristolHockey @BristolHockeyTA Boys had a narrow win on the final day of @EnglandHockey TA cup - in sweltering conditions v @TBBTalentAca. A great squad who have supported each other and grown together in inaugural season

Beyond proud of our 1st year as a TA & in particular of these girls who I have had the pleasure of working with all year. So many smiles, laughs, memories, connections. An exceptional team effort, enabling our talents to shine in an awesome TA Cup. What a ride.

Hugely proud of Chris. Massive for him & UBHC. A year after losing the hero that was Ben Dudley, we have picked ourselves up under Chrisโ leadership & carry on what Ben started.
2x promotions and an incredible spirit throughout.

Really pleased for @BristolHockey, particularly due to the legacy of the late, great, Ben Dudley, that they have been able to carry on. I know Ben will be looking down on them from somewhere 'smiling because it happened'. Well done to Chris and the Uni coaches.

Great to see the progress being made by @BristolHockeyTA yesterday in their fixture v Exeter - some skilful hockey played out by both sides. Good to catch up with @boldie40 as always.

are your men's conference west winners ๐
What a season they've had - congratulations!
So proud of this special group of people. A year ago they lost the man who defined & drove Bristol Hockey; they never lost their inspiration though & this year have won EH Conference West, & promotion to Division One for a 2nd time with 3 games to spare. #morethanastudentclub
I only had the pleasure of meeting Colin in the last few months but his kindness, dedication, knowledge, skill and love for hockey hit me instantly. Hockey and the community in general need more like Colin, such a sad loss. Thoughts with Colinโs family and friends.
A lovely tribute on the @HockeyWestUK website for @NorthSomersetHCโs Colin Ainsworth who did so much for their club to develop their academy and for @AvonJunior - a huge loss.
