6'6" sophomore wing Ivan Eweka @Ivaneweka started the season strong for North Platte CC (NE) @NPCCMBB . In the Knights' season opener, he put his versatile skill set on full display, showcasing perimeter shot-making, relentless work on the glass, and elite athleticism. He finished just one board shy of a double-double, recording 11 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block in an impressive all-around performance.

‼️ NAIA 5th year is now more defined as it approaches its Nov. 4th vote
As I read it...a "YES" vote could, POTENTIALLY, open the door to a new group of transfers and allows the NAIA to keep its "uniqueness" around age rules!
More on this after the November 4th vote!

Expect a statement senior year from JWest! One of the hardest workers and most coachable players I’ve worked with.
Jaylen West 2027 (Hillcrest)
Aggressive two way guard. A agitator on defense, crowds ball handlers forcing them into bad situations. On offense multi tooled player can score from 3 levels. And is good on the glass.

The NCAA’s 5-for-5 rule could make HS recruiting even tougher. With athletes potentially getting 5 years to play 5 seasons, older players may stay on rosters longer—creating fewer immediate opportunities for HS recruits. Fit & opportunity matter more than ever. @nresultsrecruit

Coaches:
I understand most rosters are set for next season. However, I've spoken to a number of people who have spots available, but are holding out for a specific position.
Next week is August. In my opinion if you have a scholarship to give, now is the time to take the "best available player".
Former @PanolaMBB point guard Christian Henry (@chrisnewme_30) was granted an injunction allowing for a fifth-year. He finished his career at Panola averaging 14.3 ppg and 4.7 apg, while leading a 26-7 team to an appearance at Hutch - where he was one of the standout players of the NJCAA Tournament.
He then moved onto Eastern Michigan where he averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists; while shooting 37% from 3-point range before transferring to Fordham last season.
At Fordham, he suffered a mid-season injury. But still finished the season making 30 appearances with 23 starts while averaging 10.7 ppg, 3.4 rpg and 5.1 apg.
His assists/game (#2) and assist-to-turnover ratio (#8) were among the best in the Atlantic 10.
There are no red flags here. He would be an immediate upgrade to any LM-MM program.
Note: I apologize. I have no Fordham highlights.
