Lost a good friend and an influential mentor.
Harold Ryan made a positive impact.
Sincere condolences to his family.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord;
and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Check this out: Mike Ditka in a game against the Steelers in 1963. This is honestly one of the best plays by a tight end in NFL history that very few people have ever seen. RIP Iron Mike.

300 career wins for one of the all-time greats.
Randy Dreiling earned his first win in 1989, in his first season as head coach at Kingman, when the Eagles beat Clearwater 7-6 in Week 1. Friday night, 37 years later, Dreiling reached win No. 300 as St. Thomas Aquinas defeated Blue Valley, 27-24.
He has won 10 state titles, including seven at Hutchinson and three at Aquinas. #sportsinkansas
Coaches watch film.
We usually discover that we were not as good or bad as we thought we were. We figure out how to improve.
LIFE IS THAT WAY TOO.
We reflect on past choices. Things we regret often turn out to be less catastrophic than we thought. Time and people who care about us help us GET BETTER!
Two of the best men in Kansas at the State Fair Meadowlark building … HutchCC Director of Marketing (former KS State Fair GM) Denny Stoecklein, and Econ Professor (Teacher of the Year) Matt Wilper.
Give em an X like!
Congrats to this year's Hutchinson High School Wall of Honor inductees. All three are outstanding people. M*A*S*H surgeon, Business leader, and Hutchinson mayor.
Per @sportsinkansas :
Oaken Williams put together an outstanding soph season, establishing himself as a top d- back in Class 5A. Earned AVCTL First Team All-League plus Sports in Kansas All-State honorable mention and "Top 100 Non-Seniors" after recording 98 tackles, 2 TFL, 5 pass breakups.
