Seems to be a lot of misinterpretation from this one. I take it as him saying they’re in playoff mode knowing they can’t afford to lose another one. Some of the comments seem to interpret as they thing they’re already in or getting in the playoff.
I like it. Win them all.

Yet I am shocked every year the Braves aren’t in the World Series.
Johnny Cueto threw eight pitches in Game 1 of the 2012 NLDS before back spasms knocked him out.
The Reds won that night in San Francisco anyway, and the next night too. Then they came home and lost three straight. That's as close as Cincinnati has come to winning a playoff round since 2000.
They've been to October five times in that stretch. In 2010 Roy Halladay no hit them in the first game.
In 2013 they lost the wild card game in Pittsburgh. In 2020 and 2025 they were swept in two. The last time the Reds won a playoff series was 1995.
