The Jefferson and Maynard Jackson situation is unfortunate. I wasn’t there so I’m hesitant to take a stance, but something to be considered: It’s always good to be weary of where we are quick to side with arguments when the details aren’t available to us.

I understand the need to investigate allegations this serious, if there is evidence to actually substantiate them.
But this may be the most absurd piece of anonymous storytelling I’ve ever read.
The author would have you believe Maynard Jackson didn’t travel to Jefferson in 2026. Instead, they traveled back to 1955 to take on the Jim Crow All-Stars at Separate-but-Equal Stadium.
Extraordinary allegations require some extraordinary evidence..
