Coaches asking why Mike is away from call side? This is why we love this front. This is MEAT ( Mike edge away tail). Can stunt Mike from anywhere based on gameplan. Keep everything else in tact

Cub Sam Thief with 2-3 Hot Eyes Coverage. Odd Mow (Mike over weak) Hammer. Base Odd Hammer. Cub Flex Fox.

Literally "Fox the Post". With help from .@CoachGower on Press Quarters, this "Hammer" cov in base Odd Front. Mike adds to rush. Need field Invert Safety to sink instead of follow Shallow, but Fox Safety does a great job of going to post when 2 goes under. CB gets pick!

Really like the flexibility of our 5 Safety 46 personnel. Can go 3 down to 4 down to 5 down quickly, without changing a lot of rules.
We lost you a year ago today. I think about you all the time. Wish I could say Thank You and I Love You one more time. I hope you enjoy the game tonight.

Still working on some things, but love this 5 Safety 46 we are running. Very "towerish", "3 safetyish" similar to .@CoachGower .@CoachAdamGaylor Gives us a lot of flexibility for run/pass stunts and get into a run stop front when needed.

FW Diamond Hill Jarvis defeats Dallas A Plus 38-6 in Friday's season opener. Last time the Eagles scored 30+ in a win - 2018
The 32 point margin of victory - most since 2006!

Hanging out with @skrubel4444 watching a Fleetwood Mac cover band after starting 1-0. GOD is Good!
When your wife is on the top step of a 6 foot ladder helping you build a gazebo and Someone Like You by Van Morrison is playing, you know God is Good! Happy 250th USA! @skrubel4444
Congrats to these guys @rocketbaseball Some of my best years in coaching were working with these guys, even got one of them an interception for a TD!
Big congrats on a great season to @SladeMccloud and @CageCcloud taking Tarleton State to the Regional. So proud of you guys. Big ups to @rocketbaseball and their quest for a state championship! @Jayarmes @CClemons21
Which begs the question: Why aren't we playing more small ball? Leadoff hitter on base = bunt or hit and run, instead of K, pop-up or double play. Play for 1 run an inning, get it in half the innings, we win a LOT more! .@Evan_P_Grant

.@PaceNSpace2 This is a great play. Sidenote to all DC's out there: the best way to defend this is to have 11 guys on the field, not 10.

.@AdamArchuleta .@JonSvecX What do you think about this where we "come to balance", then work 2 step with same-foot same-shoulder mentality? We progress to this after working a 1-step strike foot placement drill. .@RichieGrayGSI .@ADRCoachDev
Best thing about this drill: the Power Step. You cannot generate force or power without stepping HARD into the ground inside the framework of the runner.
Try easing into the ground—you can’t!
Why don’t we emphasize this step in other tackling drills? Instead we teach chopping or buzzing our feet parallel?
Emphasizing this step in all contact drills is a critical coaching point that cannot be overlooked!!!

Even though there are some things I would stress, teach and set up differently. This drill is 100% better than almost every drill I've seen on here in last 2 weeks.
You can still practice being physical with & without pads & helmets. This beats rolling around with bags, diving at tackle wheels & certainly better than live 3 on 1 tackling drills!!

Great point by .@FB_FilmAnalysis about rotating from MOFC to MOFO. Swipe concepts away from the rotations can really confuse QB's. Can also manipulate protections by spying the RB.
