Bo has been competing The message I get from college coaches is they tell me they love watching him compete Lefty that can really shoot it. High character. Great teammate!
2027 Bowyen Reid is a high-IQ player who isn’t afraid to do the dirty work. He’s constantly flying around the court, making winning plays and crashing the glass with relentless effort. Reid also showcased a smooth stroke, burying several threes on the day. @BCBBall_

Coach - Love all 4 of these I use "no squirrel cuts" w/players. Squirrels (in the road) often either hesitate or run back to where they started = getting run over. Players, cut & finish your cuts. It creates space, allows your teammates to trust where you're going & play faster

10 players on the court 1 player has the ball 9 players don’t have the ball The majority of the game will be played without the ball In our trainer heavy, skill development world we live in… More players than ever think their value is only in what they do when they have the ball Defend, talk, Make extra pass, remind a teammate, anticipate & close off a drive, set a screen, do what winners do

Wednesday will be lift, film, and shooting mostly. Thursday we will prep for Friday’s opponent with a little more intensity than Wed’s practice. Thurs would be no longer than 75 mins at this point of the season

Depends on the type of loss (close? blowout?) Immediately address/focus on any areas that impacted the loss that also impact next game success. (e.g. Rebounding, Turnovers, Communication) From there, focus on scout, individual matchups, and continue working on fundamentals.
TWO DAYS Coaches What do you do with the 2 days you have between games Example You lose a game on Tuesday night You play a game on Friday You have 2 days of practice on Wednesday & Thursday to work on the things you need to improve on How you prioritize what you do in practice, film, walk-thru matters What’s your process? Would love to hear from both veteran and young coaches I think this could be a valuable and insightful thread for coaches to learn from one another

This is awesome. So under appreciated and under valued. Big time respect for coaches who are doing this and not acting like it’s a “part-time gig”
