You need to be mentally tough in order to be an OC/playcaller. No matter what there will always be players, coaches, and fans that think you need to do things differently. This becomes amplified when you are losing games. Have conviction in your beliefs and keep coaching.

DEEP THOUGHTS ON ANOTHER @ysufootball win:
1. Wyche-El is a 1st team all-american at WR
2. This is a top 4 seed in the playoffs
3. This is our best D since 2016
4. OLine is dominant
5. Gardner is a stud
1 of the toughest part of parenting ,watching your grown kids go through adversity and realize you can’t fix everything. Especially when they look at you asking “WHY?” and start questioning God. All you can do is pray, encourage them, and trust God even when you don’t understand.

Kirby Smart believes great leaders of any kind must accept 3 costs:
1. Making hard decisions that negatively impact people you care about
2. Being disliked despite attempts to do the best for the most
3. You'll be misunderstood

#thankfulthursday I’m thankful for the setbacks God has given me and my team it taught me to see the good in setbacks 🙏🏾
Today, I’m thankful for friendship. Never take genuine friendship for granted. Value the people who show up, check on you, support you, and stand beside you through every season. Real friendship is a blessing—appreciate it and protect it.

Okay @Hudl - we gave you time to get your life sorted out. It’s time to grow up now. You jack up your prices, your products can’t all get 10x worse. Let’s get it together before conference play, K?
