Tess had a session with me for some left-side oblique discomfort he was having. We utilized the Volta X with some Iso’s and CARs to get him back on track. Proud of the work he’s put in to stay on the field. Good luck tonight against LSW. Go Gators! 🏈🐊
A snippet of Olivia (my niece) and I presenting on Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) to the LPS P.E. Teachers.
Joint health & function are the foundation of movement, regardless of age or athletic ability.
As Dr. Andreo Spina says, “You can’t move where you can’t move.”
It was an honor to present for @LPSHealth_PE . I teamed up with my friend Dr. Troy Goetsch (@troythefitphysio) to share some knowledge & challenge conventional thinking. I presented on implementing Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) and Troy tackled Squat & Hinge Myth-Busting.
The next day she texted;
I feel more mobile & that pain that was shooting thru my scapula & down my arm is gone. It’s just the numbness I’m still fighting. The 2nd day she texted; Really good! The numbness seems a bit better when I’m not sitting. But literally no pain!
Training day with Whitney & Riley💪🏻
Whitney injured her wrist playing volleyball… but the session still happened.
Because the goal isn’t the exercise — it’s the body.
The movement is just the tool we use to adapt, strengthen, and keep progressing.
Injured or not, we find a way.
Paxton putting in work. 🧠💪
Training through an Internal Strength Model:
• CARs
• Max Strength
• Speed Strength
• Reactive Strength
• Joint Health & Function
Building strength, speed, control and usable range of motion.
HUMAN FIRST. ATHLETE SECOND. 🧠🩻
Doing hip and knee CARs are more important to me than doing the squat.
The squat doesn’t give me better hips or knees. But having better hip and knee function can give me a better squat. I’m not saying don’t squat. I’m saying don’t overlook the joints that make the squat possible

Down goes South Dakota State! If anyone doubted Omaha belonged in the Summit’s top tier, the Mavs answered that tonight. Faith Venable took her game to another level, going swing for swing with Sylvie Zgonc and finishing with 19 kills on .312 hitting. What a performance!

Lainey rolled her ankle in a VB game We used the Volta X & worked through Ankle CARs with a focus on isometrics. During the session, I observed improved ROM & smoother gait. She said “Feels a lot better.” We’ll continue supporting her movement quality, recovery and performance.
Harrison is back! 💪 After almost a month of schedule conflicts, it was great to get him back in the gym.
Joint health & function is the foundation of our training—but it’s also the part most people never train.
Build the foundation. Everything else follows. 🧠🦴

Omaha has no shortage of scoring options. Thursday’s South Dakota State–Omaha matchup should be a good one. SDSU’s last Summit League road loss came at Omaha in 2023.
Pick your Poison 🤷♀️
This trio continues into Summit League play with a total of 71 kills and a combined hitting percentage of .325!

Congrats to Omaha on starting Summit League play 2-0 with a 3–1 win in Fargo! I liked the Mavs before the season, and I like them even more after seeing them in person.
They hit .438 with just one error in a pivotal 25–23 third set. Marić, Obeid, Venable and Jacobsen all hit .333 or better, and the defense impressed me even more in person.
