We are sending our kids to school to memorize facts that AI can retrieve in 0.3 seconds.
We're grading them on essays that AI writes better than their teachers.
We're preparing them for jobs that won't exist by the time they graduate.
The entire education system is training humans to compete with machines at what machines do best.
That's not education. That's sabotage.
The schools that survive will teach thinking, not memorizing. Creating, not repeating. Discerning, not obeying.
Every other school is a museum that doesn't know it yet.

The public education system is over. It has already failed to provide even a rudimentary education to multiple generations of children. Now with AI there really is no way for a mass assembly line style system to prevent kids from using ChatGPT to do everything for them. You have two options: homeschool, or a really good (and preferably small) private school. Public education was already dying. AI just killed what was left of it. It’s done. Really. Don’t send your kid to public school. They won’t learn anything. The public education experiment failed, and now it’s over.

Somebody once joked that teacher of the year is usually a person who would normally get fired. They're so incredible precisely because they got around the rules. They found ways to do what actually works despite the system rather than because of it. The most amazing teachers are often the least compliant.
From a certain perspective, the best teachers are irresponsible. Responsible to their students, irresponsible to the bureaucracy. They prioritize learning over compliance. The system doesn't reward that. The system punishes it. Teacher of the year is an anomaly, not a model.
