NFL OG Pass Blocking through 5 weeks
This is a Tate Ratledge post.
Also, really cool to see Zion Johnson playing like a 1st rounder with a change of scenery.

It’s early, but Appalachian State OT Devon Manuel might be one of the most overlooked 2027 NFL Draft prospects right now.
The 6’7.5”, 325-pound left tackle is currently No.1 in the FBS in total pass blocking snaps without allowing a single pressure.
He’ll be an older rookie (turns 24 in June), but he’s been dominant in the G5 this season after transferring in from Florida in the offseason.
I currently have a 5th/6th round grade on Manuel, but he could be a riser closer to April. #NFLDraft #NFL #Browns #Scouting

Confirming the #Browns are planning to sign RB Audric Estime off the #Vikings practice squad to their 53-man roster. Originally a 5th round pick of the #Broncos out of Notre Dame in '24. @Schultz_Report first.

"Deshaun Watson wasn't the problem"
- 4 seconds before he even has to move.
- Denzel Boston and Harold Fannin Jr. streaking open 7 yards downfield (Boston open from the snap).
- Continues to miss fundamental pressure keys at the LOS.
P.S. Some iteration of this play/situation is what resulted in 5 of the team's 8 sacks today. #Browns #DawgPound

This is a great example of not being on the same page in protection/eyes. Browns offense remains out of sync.
Watch the protection, in full left slide to protect inside gaps. QB is responsible for the EMLOS and throwing hot. Watch Fannin (No. 3 in the alignment -- closest to the tackle box). He is wide open on his speed out in shock concept. LB responsible for him is chasing from a mugged alignment running out from the LOS. Throw it right off the break and you have a real chance for a 3rd and 7 first down.
Browns have to get better at these. Killing them in 2026.
