A great honor to be the 1st ever back-to-back winner of this award. Only possible with phenomenal players & an awesome administration backing me. To paraphrase one of my favorite coaches - “We do it for the name on the front of the jersey AND the name on the back.” We will work endlessly to make LSU Eunice and the whole state of Louisiana proud 🙏⚜️💜💛 … and also for these special players - there’s nothing better than seeing them grow, achieve at a high level 🏆🏆, and see their families be proud of them. From here - it’s still ALL GEAUX, NEAUX BRAKES! 🏀🔥 #FullGeaux 🐯
Thank you to those great players - Bella, Kamiera, Reesie, Edurne, Brooklyn, Kelsey, Haya, Jodie, SaiSai, Aryanna, Erianna, Paulina, and Joanna. Much appreciated - my hardworking assistants Matthew Stiff & Summer Ceaser. And none of this possible without an incredible administration - Nancee Sorenson @sorenson_nancee & @CoachJeffWillis. SINCERE THANK YOU to everyone who supported us this year!
From @LSUEBengals & @LSUEBengalsWBB …
For a second straight year, Rob Beckmann is the Best in the Boot after being named the LCCAC Coach of the Year. LSUE ran through the LCCAC undefeated with a 30 point average margin of victory. He’s the first to win COY honors in consecutive seasons.

Well said, Coach👏
Although you’re talking common sense on this app, which is not what this app is for🤭
Now post something about a traveling violation and let’s get some real social media dialogue going😂
Strong reactions to this - many negative. My first thought is why people are so quick to judge another person’s way of living? This coach just received a coaching position (as D-Coordinator at the FBS level) and there’s only 138 of those jobs. He got the job mid-season (and literally MID-GAME) after another coach was let go, so he’s scrambling to prove himself and make the most of it - both for his family’s benefit and that of all the “kids” (players) who he is coaching/trying to help succeed.
The truth is in coaching (and things like entrepreneurship or even art), you’re not always going to have perfect work-life balance 24/7 365 always. You occasionally have to move out of balance to get things done. And yes - in the long run, it’s smart to move back toward balance for your overall mental health & for your relationships with family and friends. That needs to happen in time.
In this particular case, his family is also supporting this temporary lack of balance while he makes the most of this opportunity. It’s a nuanced issue but people like to make black & white comments on it. Has there been tremendous success so far to show for it? No - but again, anyone who has actually taken on a major rebuild in the midst of things going wrong knows that a quick fix isn’t happening. He actually would’ve had an easier time starting from scratch instead of trying to fix an ongoing problem. But in our society, we like the quick fix, the quotable one line of judgement.
People commenting negatively or sarcastically do so on platforms whose founders and owners often built businesses and innovations while having to live out of balance (along with a whole team of other people also doing so). Remember the people who make judgement often benefit from the people who actually “do.”
“It is not the critic who counts … The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.”
Great to see my former player & one of my favorites - Mariah Heard - at our final preseason exhibition game tonight! Mariah was a key member of my first team here at LSU Eunice. Things started a little rocky, but that squad hit its stride mid-season, reeling off a long winning streak and winning our first Conference Championship 🏆 Mariah was an important part of that group’s success in flipping the program & changing the trajectory of LSU-E Women’s Basketball 📈 Wonderful to see her & wish her nothing but the best 🙏🐯💜💛 #FullGeaux @LSUEBengalsWBB
