A big thank you to the Football Moms Club for treating the Varsity Football Team to dinner tonight at Tran’s. They’ve done an amazing job all year taking care of our football players with snacks, drinks, pre-game and team meals. We appreciate y’all!

As an athlete, you are what you think. The more positive you think, the better you’ll perform in games!

0-4 is a record. “We’re an 0-4 team” is an identity.
Idaho entered this game winless against No. 1 Montana State. With one second left, they scored a touchdown, went for two, and won 35-34.
Your record tells you what has happened. Your identity helps decide what happens next.
Keep the record in the standings. Keep it out of your identity.

Private Equity has fully encroached on Youth Sports.
They are preying on the fears of parents, convincing them that their kids are behind their peers, and forcing the kids to specialize WAY too early.
They manipulate parents into paying outrageous fees for travel teams, showcase tournaments, and bogus recruiting services.
Private Equity DOES NOT care about your kids.
They don't care about the development of young athletes.
They don't even care about sports at all.
They ONLY care about profit.
They worship the almighty dollar.
They will promise you the world while they shake you down for every penny.
Resist the grift. Push back on the lies.

For a team to reach its full potential, each player must make sacrifices for the greater good of the team. No individual is bigger than the team.

Enjoy your high school athletic career as much as you can, because it goes by fast and you’ll miss it when it’s done.

Boys Of Fall would not have been the same without my good friend @SeanPayton. This is Sean giving a pregame speech in Naperville, Illinois where he played High School football. This speech wasn’t scripted. He spoke from heart. Sean is a great football coach but he is a great communicator and motivator. This speech still gives me chills. Sean I am forever grateful. It’s football season everyone. KC

No officials for Yoakum-Edna scrimmage at Cowboy Memorial Stadium. Same was true for a couple of scrimmages around the area. The shortage is real. Officials are needed. @Matt_Stepp817

Last month we heard our good friend Ricky Prine @TxTundra was receiving the Curly Hays award for Excellence in Officiating at the TSHCA Conference. We got with some folks and decided to help make it a bit more special, showing how much Ricky is appreciated. Please enjoy this feature highlighting not only Ricky's career, but hearing from some of the folks that work with him each week.
A very special thanks to the folks that made this possible:
Thank you to THSCA's Joe Martin, @sloan_coach , @coach_mcdowell , @coachlaplante
@coachbronk John Bronkhorst, is no stranger to the coaching profession. Coach Bronkhorst now helps families and individuals organize their finances and strategize things like retirement, pension, and even NIL. Please see him for answers to your financial needs.
Secondly, the folks at @BSNSPORTS have been incredible, really driving for a true portrait of Ricky and for referees in general. BSN is a household name in sport apparel, and we recommend you give them a visit for your apparel needs.
Special shoutout to @MichaelBerrySho for having Ricky on a couple weeks ago and letting him share his stories.
Lastly, a special credit to @THSCAcoaches and especially @anna_buckalew for working with us on making this special, providing DITH access to these coaches and allowing us to be part of the ceremony, too. Thank you for continuing to support the coaching (and refereeing) profession.
Please enjoy!
