My POV of how summer ball has changed. It is what it is. We are trying to adapt to it every off season heading into the summer
Cliff Godwin at East Carolina made a prediction on my show that has stuck with me. The portal will damage summer baseball, because programs will stop sending their best players to leagues where rival coaches can recruit them. He said it knowing it would be unpopular. Six or eight coaches told me the same thing that week. Watch the summer leagues over the next few years.

As our season comes to a close, we want to extend a sincere thank you to all of the college baseball coaches who trusted us with the opportunity to coach and develop your players this summer. There is no Giants without these relationships.
Best,

Tonight I attended the Olney Cropdusters collegiate league game with some great friends and I have a few observations.
It cost us $16 dollars which was ridiculous!
The uniforms were atrocious!
The talent was OK I guess.
But $16 to attend a collegiate league game?
I did meet a young man whose family is a host family for one of the Gaithersburg players and heโs a second baseman going into 9th grade.
I told him to get a rubber ball and start squeezing it to build up his hand and forearm strength.
