Michael Young won the 2005 batting title with 221 hits.
As a shortstop. Three years later he won a Gold Glove there.
Then he moved to third so Elvis Andrus could play. He also had 200 hits in five straight seasons and finished with 2,375. He moved positions three times for the good of the team, from second to short to third to DH, and kept producing at every one of them.
Rangers fans know. Nobody else seems to.
