Congrats @AidanBattle!! Washburn Special Teams delivered this week. Proud of my guys.
Washburn's Aidan Battle from @IchabodFTBL named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week #GoBods wusports.com/news/2026/10/12…
If that long snapper (back-up), holder (stud) and kicker (absolute dawg) aren't "him" I don't know who is....
It was a battle of field goals and punting (field position). Ichabod specialists did their job!!
Ichabods improve to 4-1-1 on the season with a Hall of Fame & Pink out Saturday win over Pittsburg State!

Good luck to all the high school specialists who begin their season tonight. We might have a small role but we can have a huge impact. #Bethestandard
Less than a week away for our season opener. The kicking balls are mudded up and almost ready. @IchabodFTBL #Bethestandard
Huge ball from Butker. His technique is certainly unique and not one I'd necessarily teach however, his timing and energy transfer into and through the ball is elite.

#Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker kicks a 59-yd field goal to put KC ahead.
Something I work with punters at every opportunity. Eliminate unnecessary movement and work on smooth, efficient technique. Great stuff from @trlong02
If you want a faster operation time, speed up your hands before you speed up your feet.
When guys hear they need a faster operation, their first instinct is usually to move their feet faster. The problem is, faster feet can turn into longer steps, rushed movements, and an inconsistent ball.
Your hands control more of the operation than you think.
Get smoother and quicker setting the football.
Get smoother and quicker spinning the football.
Eliminate wasted movement.
Once your hands are efficient, then speed up your feet.
Fast doesn’t mean rushed.
Quick hands. Small steps. Clean operation.
