Just as you would for kids, furniture, and objects, keep anything that can burn at least three feet away from outdoor heating equipment. Children should not operate outdoor portable heaters. When the area in which they are used is not occupied, turn them off.

Ashes & wood debris must be completely cool before removing them to a metal container for proper disposal. Keep the ash container covered and at least 10 ft. away from the home & other buildings. Never empty the ashes directly into a trash can. Chill out before you take them out!
