What I saw tonite by many of U who protested in residential cmty w/children was vile&disgusting. @AuroraPD protects free speech, but your message was completely lost. U were out of your league. My cops were simply AMAZING despite your attempts to bait them into a confrontation!
@AuroraPD joined metro agencies to discuss epidemic of auto thefts & develop strategies to combat. THE #1 WAY THIEVES STEAL CARS is because OWNERS 1) don’t lock cars 2) leave keys in car 3) warm cars unattended in winter. U CAN PREVENT AUTO THEFT! Help stop auto theft & retweet
On this fateful 9/11 anniversary @AuroraPD @AuroraFireDpt came together to honor fallen 1st Responders who ran in as others ran out. Our message, “train for the day, because it will come”. Picture is 1st Responders running stairs at academy in memory so that we #NeverForget

Tonight we witnessed the best of Aurora (Police & Community) during the peaceful #LightsForLiberty demonstration. Thank you to everyone who remained peaceful & took the time to thank my cops...& thank you to all the officers who were there to ensure everyones safety. @AuroraPD
@AuroraPD command staff BBQing for our Officers working July4th! Thank you to all the officers who have to spend this special holiday away from their families. Also, welcome our new ChevTahoe Patrol car. A much better vehicle for our officers. HAPPY SAFE JULY 4TH!!! 💥
The 1st Annual Aurora Youth Expo was held today on the Great Lawn with the theme of preventing youth violence. Great attendance! These 4 young women approached my officers & asked if they could pray for their safety as they protect our communities. @AuroraPD @AuroraGov @TheIACP
Heartbreaking update. K9 Draco passed away at 7pm today, surrounded by his handler/family and fellow officers. He was a true part of the APD Family. Draco, thank you for serving Aurora and protecting your “person” so well. Rest well my friend, we’ll take it from here. @AuroraPD
