Recruiter: Hi Chris, are you available for work? Me: Yes Recruiter: What's your day rate? Me: Errr, what's the job?! I wish this were a one off, but LinkedIn is like this on repeat each week.

I thought my setup was cuckoo sprocketfox.io/xssfox/2021/1…

Do I want to go to a recruiter's Xmas drinks party, an hour and a half away, with people I have never met before or even talked to? Feels like a long shot. Full credit though, that's the third email I've had to ignore. Merry Christmas.

🤣

merry christmas David

own a boat? wanna work on said boat? role does not involve docker but you may want to pay attention to cloud. good luck ship mate. ⛴️

You can (of course) pay more for a pre-trusted certificate. It's a total racket.

Sorry for my slow reply - I don't use Twitter much. All they wanted from me was a phone number - they never actually checked it. Also when the cert was applied on Windows, it wasn't even trusted by default. The trust is "built up" as more people install & use it.

cheapest I found was leadertelecom.biz/ - 69 euro. It worked, but I had to have a valid telephone number (I used voipfone.co.uk/ which was another £2 per month) :/ Total process was a pita. Good luck!

Can't someone else do it? Where someone else is "the database" and the answer is often: "yes".

Make me enter my password all the damn time and I'll use a crappy password because remembering 32 chars of junk like "£$%bd23$ is a real pain in the ass. I'm looking at you #NintendoSwitch

As a complete beginner, my fav part about the whole #Java dev experience so far is it really sets your expectations for enterprise development. Which is to say everything takes a ****ing age.

The GCSE results of the average Focus driver. Ho ho, I kid, I kid.

An easy Hazzard to avoid womp womp 🎺

You want to try Sky Broadband, where it's more of a quarterly thing...

Well that was a major disappointment #RTX3060

Found a site listing the price of the 3070 - have downgraded my ambition to a 3060.

Genuine Q - how can I get an RTX gfx card? Is there any sites taking back orders for the 3070 ? Bloody bitcoin miners ruining everything for everyone. All I wanna do is game at >60fps

My wife found many of her running pains went away after gait analysis and the shoes it recommended. But I suggest cycling instead, because it's more fun :)
