When people say the Ghanaian tech ecosystem isn't as supportive as others, they often (not always) position themselves outside the problem. Everyone can sing the same hymn about the lack of support. But change starts somewhere, with someone. That someone could be you. I have been actively involved in this ecosystem for about four years, and the hymns remain the same. We complain, discuss what's wrong, and then do very little to change things, almost as though we are waiting for someone somewhere to take the initiative on our behalf. Many won't like this take, but the change we collectively want to see starts with us. Yes, you.
