You’re free to enjoy the show, and I’m free to question it. Expressing skepticism isn’t demanding that everyone agree. If different opinions are welcome, mine shouldn’t require changing the channel.

The most embarrasing thing about this is that this was Done because of One Man 🤣🤣🤣🤣How powerful can one Person be that a bunch of people have to gangs up? Lmao
Something doesn’t have to be consequential to warrant criticism. People critique music, sports, and entertainment every day. You’re free to find the choice trivial; that doesn’t make your indifference a standard everyone else has to follow.

Why would an inconsequential decision such as who performs music at halftime warrant criticism? It’s just silly.

Whether you think it's too much or too little, my stance remains the same. 🫱🏾🫲🏾
I was 10 years old giving adults hell if they thought they were going to disrespect my siblings. I’ve always had a voice, even when using it got me in trouble. But most of the time, my mom let me stand up to whoever disrespected me.

I think we need to talk about the absolute joy of coming home from somewhere, taking your bra off, getting into your pyjamas and knowing you don’t have to go out again. There are few greater feelings.

I really hate the “I’m tougher on black girls and hold them to a higher standard because I want them to be better” crowd
These are skills children will need as adults. Being a parent doesn’t mean you’re always right, and allowing your children to express themselves doesn’t take away from your authority. My daughters will know how to speak up, stand their ground, and hold their own, respectfully.
That’s why so many adults avoid confrontation, shut down, or struggle to speak up for themselves. Some grew up in households where they were taught that expressing themselves was disrespectful. You can speak up for yourself, express how you feel, and still be respectful.
My daughters won’t have to wait until adulthood to learn that their voices matter. I don’t expect my daughters to sit in silence just because an adult is speaking. They’re allowed to respond, ask questions, and share their perspectives, respectfully.
Someone questioned why I let my daughter “talk back,” but she was simply expressing herself. Just because she’s a child doesn’t mean her thoughts and feelings don’t deserve to be heard. In my house, we communicate with each other.
I used the @ button when we previously disagreed, and I’ll use it again if I have something to say to you. Nobody scares me enough to sneak diss. But if the shoe happens to fit without an @, lace it up and wear it.🫱🏾🫲🏾

Lol idk why the algorithm threw this on my TL but I hope this wasn’t about me, non of this applies to my tweet nor was i arguing with anyone and I’m in my 20s 😂
This is one of those books you’ll finish in one sitting because it’s just that good and engaging. I lost count of how many times I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Steinbeck really ate when he wrote this one. A phenomenal read! 📚👏🏽

Having the option to change the channel doesn’t make the NFL’s choice immune to criticism. I can choose not to watch the performance/still question why he was selected. Your weather analogy misses the point: the weather isn’t a decision made by people who can be held accountable.
