Days 87-89 of #100DaysOfCode Completed another project focused on advanced DOM manipulation and implemented some modern functionality such as sticky navigation, sliders, lazy loading, tabbed components and more. Now moving on to a deep dive into OOP for the next couple days!

Day 86 of #100DaysOfCode Today I finished a banking app project by implementing timers and using the internationalization API. Got a small introduction to asynchronous JS using setTimeout and setInterval. Now moving on to advanced DOM manipulation!

Day 85 of #100DaysOfCode Back on the grind. My pre-course work isn’t available for another two weeks so I’m trying to finish up one of my Udemy classes. Learned about BigInt, Numeric Separators, and the Date object!

Day 84 of #100DaysOfCode Got the call about my results today.. AND WAS OFFERED ACCEPTANCE INTO @codesmith_!!! I’m overwhelmed with joy and happiness and extremely grateful for everyone that has helped me on my journey. 2 months until I’m officially a part of LA Cohort 52!

Days 80-83 of #100DaysOfCode The last 4 days flew by since I was preparing for first @codesmith_ technical interview and it went so well today!!! Regardless of the outcome, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come in the last 7 months and looking forward to many more years to come 🥳

Day 78-79 of #100DaysOfCode Bittersweet feelings that CS Prep ended! 😭 I’ve already built such great friendships and look forward to all of us getting into Codesmith’s immersive program. I’m going through CSX for the third time now preparing for my interview this Saturday!

Day 76-77 of #100DaysOfCode Finished my 2nd last day of CS Prep. Group project presentations on Monday. My group made a memory matching game!! What a journey the last two weeks have been. I feel much more confident & more prepared for my first technical interview next week!

Day 75 of #100DaysOfCode Going through CSX once again. My goal for the next week is to brute force & finish CSX at least 1-2 times. My last CS Prep class is Saturday which will be a lot of practice with closures & a group project. 1 more week until my technical interview!

Days 72-74 of #100DaysOfCode I feel like the last three days flew by and I’ve had no time! Went over recursion, Big O notation, and some closures. Lots of pair programming to get some more algorithms now. Feeling good but need more recursion practice to prepare for the TI.

Day 71 of #100DaysOfCode Recorded myself technically communicating through a problem and it turned out well! Then did some research & practiced more Recursion in preparation for the Recursion unit. We are learning about Big O Notation soon too, which is so exciting!

Day 70 of #100DaysOfCode Coded a total of 10 hours today!! 6 hours of CS Prep and 4 hours of additional self study or pair programming all on higher order functions and callbacks. My first Codesmith technical interview is on 4/30!! The clock is ticking and the pressure is on.

Day 69 of #100DaysOfCode Recursion, recursion, recursion!!! I was today years old when I found out you CAN use iteration in recursive solutions. I misunderstood and thought they were mutually exclusive before 🙃 This is good to know for recursively flattening arrays!

Day 68 of #100DaysOfCode Next class isn’t until Saturday so I spent the day studying Recursion. I understand simple recursion problems and the theory of it but need practice with more complex algorithms.

Day 67 of #100DaysOfCode Finished OOP today on day 3 of CS Prep & discussed more about Functions. I definitely have a much better understanding of prototype and __proto__ now. Joined the pair programming channel on our Slack & will be pair programming all weekend!

Day 66 of #100DaysOfCode We learned about functions and the execution of javascript under the hood yesterday. Today we learned all about OOP including prototypal inheritance, “this”, Objects, and more! My favorite part of class is definitely pair programming with my peers!

Day 65 of #100DaysOfCode Officially started CS Prep and wow, my cohort is filled with amazing people with an awesome instructor!! I also had my initial interview today and the admissions coordinator was so nice!! I was invited back for a technical interview 😊

Day 64 of #100DaysOfCode It’s been an eventful weekend! Finished the closure challenges and now working on Recursion again. Spent time preparing for my initial Codesmith interview and my first CS Prep class is tomorrow night! Officially giving work my notice on Tues 🥳😅
