Strong trade today at Llandeilo mart ... obviously according to condition this season, and the condition varies but on the whole looking very fair.
Sadly this has the ring of truth about it. It will be misused by those seeking to stifle discussion and thwart accountability. It is also a weapon to use against street preachers and anyone with a point of view someone decides they do not like - even the inoffensive and innocuous

The weather may be wild, but nature definitely knows how to put on a show.
The waterfalls are even more powerful, the water rushing with incredible force and the sound is simply something else.

Keep in mind that one can cause "harassment, alarm, or distress" in England and Wales by uttering a true statement of fact to someone who doesn't want to hear it, or by offering an honestly-held opinion or belief, spoken or written, which also offends.

You just know that this will end up being weaponised and won’t be applied consistently.

The baby calves last night, sheltering from the storm. You’d not think it was blowing a hoolie and pouring down outside when you see how content they are.
These guys are some of the last batch that came to us. They have been doing well considering the rubbish weather. Changeable and damp weather is no good for young animals. Our job is to make sure they have had vaccinations to help with pneumonia and to keep them as dry and full/happy as possible. Not that easy this weekend. 🐮🤠

HMRC is sending out an intrusive letter to those people it regards as wealthy, asking for large quantities of information about their personal affairs and assets.
One person who received the letter said: “Who do these people think they are, the Stasi? This will only encourage more people to leave.”
Lizzie Murray, a partner at the accountants Saffery, advised that: “Taxpayers should not feel obliged to provide wide-ranging amounts of information to HMRC. Details of an individual’s wider asset base are only relevant to the extent that HMRC has concerns that income, gains or other taxable events relating to those assets have not been properly reported.”
While HMRC is currently claiming that these letters are only being sent to the very wealthy, no doubt it won't be long before every higher or additional rate taxpayer gets one.
This fishing expedition is an intolerable intrusion into the private lives of British citizens and should be stopped forthwith.
We post the full text of the letter in the thread below.
