After 18 NBA seasons, Russell Westbrook has retired. A legendary career: NBA’s top 75, 2017 league MVP, nine-time All-Star, nine-time All-NBA, USA Olympic Gold Medalist and the all-time record for triple-doubles.

OU finished 11th in the SEC (14-16), went 0-1 in Hoover, and trailed No. 2 Ga Tech 8-2 on the brink of elimination. Since:
⚾ Outscored GT 21-7, winning twice
⚾ Swept Big 12 champ KU 21-3
⚾ Beat only top-8 seeds in Omaha
⚾ Won 10 of final 11
A truly remarkable title run! 👏

Yes. This is real. There is no coming back from this.

Always felt like the Spurs shouldn’t even have been here and this game kinda reaffirmed that. Kudos to them for taking care of business against a depleted Thunder, but Jalen Williams’ and Ajay Mitchell’s absences decided that series

Maybe Spur shouldn’t have celebrated like they won the NBA Title after defeating a banged up OKC.

Shoutout Jalen Williams for giving it a go last night
Four hamstring injuries this season and still tried to step up to help get the team to the Finals
Not to mention last year going out there and being the second option en route to a title with a torn wrist ligament that cost him the beginning of this season too
I really hope he can get a fully healthy playoff run next year because in the 2.5 games he’s played he was hooping
Definition of putting it on the line for the team

OKC has had 4 MVPs in the past 12 years:
Kevin Durant (2014)
Russell Westbrook (2017)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2025 & 2026)
No team in history has produced more MVPs than them in that span. 🤯

The Lakers are about to pay $150M + to a Austin, and he'll deserve it.
But he just got badly outplayed by the Thunder's 15th highest paid player. And that's really what makes the Thunder such a unique challenge for the rest of the league.

Hey Lakers fans, who we blaming tonight? I think this Oklahoma City team might just be better. Go Thunder Go.

Just a reminder for everybody that Oklahoma City is 6-0 in the playoffs with a 17.5 point win margin & have a chance to get a top 4 pick at Sunday’s NBA Draft Lottery.
