Outside of Digital Asset, I don't know of a larger group of Daml engineers anywhere. That depth shapes how the team reasons about constraints.
CCPs restrict the party, not the asset. The token needs no locking primitive or awareness of the application.
Constraints liberate.
When being wrong is expensive or dangerous, you should probably skip the body shops and slop factories.
We have a very long history of quietly contributing across the network.
I'm looking forward to sharing some of what we've done and the many places we continue to build on Canton.
I remember years ago when the entire @obsidian_llc team would fit in one subway car to go to the Haskell meetup at the @digitalasset office. How far we've come since then!
Hats off to the many people who've been working for years to make this happen. This is a huge milestone.
Every day at my job, I'm surrounded by people who have spent years working fulltime on Canton.
For the network, yesterday's milestone is only the beginning.
We're all-in. Are you?
Institutional tokenization requires precise contract design, integration with existing operations, settlement discipline, and credible regulatory handling.
This is what we do on @CantonNetwork. We partner with you on each step, so the system actually reaches production.
