NEW Bruce Springsteen formally endorses Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in a new video where he calls Donald Trump “the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime.” “Hi, I'm Bruce Springsteen. Friends, fans, and the press have asked me who I'm supporting in this most important of elections. And with full knowledge that my opinions are no more or less important than those of any of my fellow citizens, here's my answer: I'm supporting Kamala Harris for President and Tim Waltz for Vice President and opposing Donald Trump and JD Vance. Here's why. We are shortly coming upon one of the most consequential elections in our nation's history. Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does then at this moment. It doesn't have to be this way. The common values, the shared stories that make us a great and united nation are waiting to be rediscovered and retold once again. Now that will take time, hard work, intelligence, faith and women and men with the national good, guiding their hearts. America's the most powerful nation on earth. Not just because of her overwhelming military strength or economic power, but because of what she stands for, what she means, what she believes in: freedom, social justice, equal opportunity, the right to be and love who you want. These are the things that make America great. Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for President in my lifetime. His disdain for the sanctity of our constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law, and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from the office of President ever again. He doesn't understand the meaning of this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American. On the other hand, Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view or sexual identity, and they want to grow our economy in a way that benefits all, not just the few like me on top. That's the vision of America I’ve been consistently writing about for 55 years now. Everybody sees things different, and I respect your choice as a fellow citizen, but like you, I've only got one vote, and it's one of the most precious possessions that I have. That's why come November 5th, I'll be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.”

In the North West we speak with many accents but, today, we come together with one voice to remember the victims, families and all those affected by the Warrington bombing 30 years ago. Myself and @AndyBurnhamGM will be attending today's service in Warrington to honour them.

I remember this like yesterday. I’m always humbled by @ColinParryPeace & @WendyParry4P as I’m not sure I could be so forgiving as these truly amazing humans. @peacefoundation maybe we all need to learn from good people like this. RIP Tim Parry. You made a difference in the world – at Jersey City, NJ
Today is Tim's 42nd birthday. In 7 months time on the 20th March 23, it will be 30 years since we last saw Tim's happy smiling face. I wonder if the people who planted the bomb ever think about what they did to us as a family. @ColinParryPeace @peacefoundation

Another year has gone! I cant believe its 29 years since Tim was taken from us, 29 years we have had to visit him at his grave rather than with the family he could have had. Hopefully, he will be remember through the fantastic work in his name & the Peace Centre

Our first Peace Maker of the Month is no other than Mo Mowlam! Mo was the Labour government’s Cabinet Minister for Northern Ireland (1997-1999) and played a crucial role in helping our founders @ColinParryPeace & @WendyParry4P secure funding for the creation of the peace centre.

The years go by so quickly! Today, on Tim's 41st birthday, we lay flowers on his grave as we have done for the 28 years instead of celebrating as a family. We all miss him so much @WendyParry4P @peacefoundation @ColinParryPeace

28 years have gone so quickly. 28 years since our beautiful son went to town and then spent the next 5 days on a life support machine. We will never know who killed Tim, but i hope they have seen the hurt they have caused each and every day

On the 28th anniversary of the Warrington bombing, my thoughts are with the families of Johnathan Ball and Tim Parry. They were aged just 3 and 12 years old when they were killed by an act of terrorism. Their memory lives on through the @peacefoundation.

Today would have been Tim's 40th birthday. Its so hard to think that 27 years have passed since he was taken from us. His life was so short but his memory and charity has changed the lives of so many. Always in our hearts x @peacefoundation @ColinParryPeace
