Keep you locked into their slop systems - Aftermarket firmware providers are SAAS companies milking you for a split of your hash - Pools are centralized insurance companies without transparent share accounting - SV1 is understood by nobody. SV2 is used by nobody - Operators are switching to AI or selling you on some tax loophole hosting contract for depreciation - Desktop miner community is filled with sellout cucks promoting closed-source miners, violating licenses for a quick buck, just like the OEMs they claimed to hate. Regardless, there is some signal in the noise. Lots of work to be done. Takeaway: assume most bitcoin miners are retarded.
