The National Police Chiefs' Council published an update today regarding their review of whether a criminal investigation should be undertaken into the infected blood scandal. The update was that the review is ongoing and no decision has yet been reached.

It was a privilege to be at the unveiling of this statue at Treloar's school in Hampshire today. The UK's first memorial to those who suffered as a result of the contaminated blood scandal and a permanent reminder of what the Treloar's cohort endured.

A new ITV drama "Bad Blood" will retell the story of the infected blood scandal and how lives were shattered. The programme creators were in touch at research stage and have clearly now commenced filming. Stellar cast, an excellent director and looks set to be a powerful series.

New reports of safety concerns at @EastMidRailway so have today written to them & @networkrail for our #Bedford rail crash clients, seeking immediate admission of liability or face litigation. Further updates in due course.
A group of our clients will be leading a protest in Corby tomorrow as part of their campaign for a public inquiry into the historic clean-up of the old Corby steelworks.
Local families want more investigation of their concerns about the public health ramifications of where the toxic waste was buried, in particular the disproportionate number of children being diagnosed with cancer in the area, in their view.
We wont be attending tomorrow but applaud their continued efforts to keep this issue high profile and to put pressure on North Northamptonshire Council to do the right thing.
