I wish some reporter would say "Mr. President, sir, can you show us test results or other evidence that you have a high IQ? Because, honestly, you say so many stupid things and express them in such juvenile language that it's kind of hard to believe."

I don't care if the press gets banned from the White House. They're not doing their fucking jobs. When is one of them going to say "Mr. President, when you say something that is patently, provably false, are you deliberately lying to us or are you just ignorant of the facts?"

Nothing new. This was published in The New Yorker in 1989.
Trump’s Aides are now listing new places to affix his name to because it makes him happy & one of those places is the Historic Ford’s theater, the playhouse where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in 1865 by John Wilkes Booth. The next is Dulles International Airport,Penn Station & the new Washington Commanders stadium.I find this disgusting do you?

My theory is that some kid named Jorge or Eduardo used to steal Stephen Miller's lunch money in high school and call him a pendejo, and now he's getting his revenge.

Is Scott Pressler trans, or just cosplaying?
NEWS: MAGA activists Scott Presler, Brilyn Hollyhand, and Benny Johnson will all be in Dallas this week for the Trump Midterm Convention, where they aim to make the U.S. Senate race in Texas a referendum on masculinity.

Anyone who believes any financial promises Trump makes is an idiot. Beyond that, 18 U.S.C. §597 makes it a crime to offer or make an expenditure to anyone in exchange for voting (or not voting) for or against a candidate. The person who accepts the payment can also be prosecuted.
Trump just made an extraordinary promise at the Republican midterm convention: “If the Republicans win the House and Senate,” every adult U.S. citizen gets a $5,000 DIVIDEND. Estimated cost: more than $1 TRILLION. No legislation was announced. No detailed funding mechanism was announced. But one condition was: REPUBLICANS MUST WIN THE HOUSE AND SENATE. So forget the labels for a moment. Don’t call it desperation. Don’t call it a bribe. Just answer the question: WHAT DO YOU CALL A PROMISE OF $5,000 TO EVERY ADULT CITIZEN THAT IS EXPLICITLY CONDITIONED ON ONE PARTY WINNING AN ELECTION?

Much obliged, Sheriff.
Citizens, put the Oxford comma to work in lists of three or more. The Oxford comma is the final comma before "and" or "or" in a series. It keeps items from blending together. Example: We packed snacks, maps, and rain gear. Without it: We packed snacks, maps and rain gear. That second version can look like maps and rain gear are one combined item. Practical tip: If a list has three or more items, place a comma after the item just before "and" or "or." Clever trick: Read the sentence without the last comma. If two items suddenly look like they belong together as one unit, add the comma. Stay sharp out there.

Anthony Fauci's newly released diary is turning into a pretty rough own goal for the republicans who leaked it, because instead of exposing him as some deep state villain, it mostly shows a scientist working the phones, trusting the evidence, and quietly rolling his eyes at donald trump's chaos while trying to keep the country safe. Senator Rand Paul released more than a thousand pages of Fauci's private notes from 2019 to 2022, and Fauci testifies before Paul's committee this week. Paul has framed the release around the idea that what Fauci wrote privately and what he told the country were two different stories. Paul's biggest headline claim does not hold up well under scrutiny. He points to a diary entry where Fauci allegedly acknowledged early on that the virus did not originate at the Wuhan wet market, while publicly backing a paper that pointed to natural spillover from that market, and Paul is using the gap to argue Fauci covered for a lab leak. But the entry Paul is citing actually shows Fauci complaining that conspiracy style letters from members of Congress were an amazing and unbelievable waste of time, which reads like frustration, not confession. A Dartmouth virologist told NPR that scientists being less certain in private than in public is normal, and that solid evidence exists for two separate viral lineages emerging, which actually supports natural spillover. Paul has also repeatedly alleged, without evidence, that NIAID funded gain of function research in Wuhan caused the pandemic, a claim Fauci denies both publicly and in the supposedly damning private diary itself. If Fauci were really hiding something, you would expect the private version to admit it. Instead it says the same thing as the public one. What actually comes through in the diary is a guy trying to steer a president who kept wandering off topic. Fauci repeatedly described trump's public comments as rambling, noting at one point that trump would drift into talking about TV ratings while Fauci tried to keep him on track. That is what a competent official sounds like when the man in charge cares more about ratings than case counts. The timing of this outrage cycle is not an accident either. While cable news spends the week over a diary that mostly makes Fauci look diligent, RFK jr is overseeing the worst measles comeback in a generation. The CDC reported 2,318 measles cases in 2026 alone, more than all of 2025 and far beyond the 283 cases in 2024, with the number still climbing. Not to mention the ever-increasing outbreak of diarrhea lettuce. So, dig through Fauci's diary if you want. What you will mostly find is a professional doing his job under an erratic boss, and a senator whose greatest hits don't survive contact with their own footnotes. ~~VIA Exposing Political Corruption In The United States

What a dimwit. There are Costcos in Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, France, Spain, Sweden, Iceland & the UK. Walmart is all over Mexico & Central America and operates under various brand names in at least half a dozen African countries.
Levin: Do you think there is a Costco anywhere of its likes in Europe? Let alone in the third world? Or a Walmart? (Yes)

A Marine sentry is standing at the door of the West Wing as of 1:50pm, indicating the president is working inside.
