Has been emerging for some years… The Council will be given cash - New Homes Bonus for bringing a new property into their area… but, you guessed it, New Council Tax registrations is the measure for numbers of houses built - new houses being built? Nope. comfortlettings.co.uk/news/2…

See Para 28 for how the New Homes Bonus is calculated using Council Tax Data. So changing from 1 Band D to 5x Band A gives the Local Authority £34,000 of funding plus a load of extra Council Tax too… assets.publishing.service.go…
Concerns have been raised about the suspicious behaviour of an individual on Kimbolton and Rothesay Avenue in #Lenton and #Radford in recent days. Please report your concerns to the Police by phoning 101 @RadfordRdCops @UoNSU_Community @CP_CentralWest @CanningPolice

That’s clear in your view to which you are entitled (without need for baseless disparaging insinuations of course). In others views, it’s simply a plea for positivity rather than focus on negative news. Same plea to you also ✌️

You tweeted a local politician spreading valuable information and doing a public service to say it left a bad taste in your mouth. It's pretty clear who's trolling at this point...

An insinuation guru. Any legislation going through Parliament and Lords has public access for comment and dialogue. ‘My access’ is my right... as a citizen, who public officials serve and have a duty to listen to- glad they did on this. You’re just being 🙃 and trolling. Goodbye

I hope you don't use your access to an unelected chamber as you describe to put down people trying to prevent students from being financilly exploited like you do on the internet. Have a great day.

Thank you for your contributions Andrew. Hope the weekend is a good and positive one for you.

Never an argument started, if you have a look and review fairly- a positivity plea. We specifically fed into the Lords to have the Tenant Fees Act drafted in such a way to prevent students getting stuck in costly ASTs... hardly shifty, yet that’s where you’re at with your view.

This is weird. I wasn't treated like that when I was a Nottingham student and wish I had clear advice like this to help. Starting arguments on twitter with people who are helping is weird.

We agree entirely, thank you. There are so many good things to talk about that get overlooked. We would like to see as many unscrupulous fined and put out of business entirely but also see best practice celebrated.
No hostility at all....simply pointing out that for good agents *which I’ve always considered your business to be, and have recommended your services* the fact that @NottmCityTS are taking action against your potentially unscrupulous competitors is a good thing
1
Of course we don’t condone them - in the same fashion we don’t condone abuse of public officials’ expenses. We happen to recognise that public officials add great value and we don’t need to talk about the sins of the minority...all the time. You will share sympathy on this point.

Surely you don’t condone illegal fees or charges and if you don’t condone it why would action by @NottmCityTS not be welcomed 🤔
Not sure we understand the hostility here as well as implied undertone- underlined with emoji. Can you link to some positive comments in public articles about the positive steps the PRS has taken in #Nottingham through 2020? Is it all negative and disparaging, caveats don’t count

Our @NottmCityTS officers highlighting ‘illegal fees’? I’d have thought that exemplar agents would be happy to have clarification so that bad practice is highlighted and tackled?
