Something I've been working on for a few days... "Disturbance on 6th Avenue."
(Modelled and rendered in 3DS Max, characters modelled in Blender.)

Just read Weapon X for the first time. I liked that BWS put so much thought into the technical side of things, but the story got a little repetitive, particularly with the completely unnecessary coda, which just repeated what we'd already seen. Also...

Here's the link to the podcast. And yes, I'm aware that I called Starhawk "Starlord" when I was talking about my #1. I'll hand in my geek card later. 😔

TIL Wolverine has super hair-growing power.
(from Weapon X, Marvel Comics Presents #73.)
A thread of creators in comics; this one is from Iron Fist #15. Paty Cockrum, Dave Cockrum, Chris Claremont, Bonnie Wilford and John Byrne attend a party at Jean Grey's apartment.
Iron Man #85 features a plethora of cameos, courtesy of Marie Severin. The first page features Glynis Wein, Ron Wilson, Marie, Herb Trimpe, Morrie Kuramoto, Irene Vartanoff, Len Wein & John Verpoorten.
Most unnecessary retcon ever? Between Captain America's first and second appearances in 1941, his cowl was altered to cover his neck. During Roger Stern & John Byrne's retelling of Cap's origin (#255, 1980), they felt the need to provide an explanation for the change.
Can't decide which is my favourite artwork from the Mighty Marvel Calendar Book; Mike Ploog's horror characters or Walt Simonson's Hulk.
My 2024 comic reading (part 1):
Marvel Team-Up: Sometimes fun, rarely more than that.
Man-Thing vol. 1: Ahead of its time, Gerber + Ploog = 🥰
Animal Man: Still my favourite Morrison work.
The Cat / Shanna The She-Devil: Two hugely enjoyable but sadly short-lived series.
