Yes, I need to make sure SpaceX stays focused on making life multiplanetary and extending consciousness to the stars, not pandering to someone’s bullshit quarterly earnings bonus! Obviously, IF SpaceX succeeds in this absurdly difficult goal, it will be worth many orders of magnitude more than the economy of Earth, but don’t expect entirely smooth sailing along the way.

Well said JEdwards!!! Congrats @blueorigin on achieving orbital rocket reusability! This milestone moves the country and industry forward to aircraft like operations and cheaper, more available launch!
Congratulations to the @blueorigin team! Recovering an orbital-class rocket is incredibly hard. Well done! 👏 We as Americans should be very proud of what we are accomplishing in space. 🇺🇸🚀

Having a NASA Administrator who knows literally ZERO about rockets & spacecraft undermines the American space program and endangers our astronauts
Should someone whose biggest claim to fame is climbing trees be running America’s space program? 🤔

Your post was: SLS works. Orion works. Starship is the problem. My post was the entire picture does not look great. That statement doesn't absolve SpaceX of their responsibilities to the Artemis-- but it was a sober assessment of the entire program. If you can shed your bias for a bit, then my statement was not a misrepresentation but accurate. - Orion is more than 20years old, has not flown humans and has had issues beyond the heat shield they are working towards. This includes ECLSS and subcontractor obligations that run right up against Artemis III margins. - The SRB anomaly is part of the SLS program that you stated works-- it was certainly not an anticipated outcome from the test and willing to bet NASA resources were invested to better understand it. - Artemis II is years behind schedule and the lack of lunar orbit insertion is a designed risk mitigation measure, which pushes more on Artemis III. This trade was up for discussion rather recently. - Landers and suits are both behind schedule. No misrepresentation there. - The program is reusing lots of legacy shuttle hardware, it is behind schedule and very costly, as referenced numerous times in NASA IG reports. Further, having the lowest flight rate of any NASA designed crewed launch system adds to the costs and risk of the program.

Starlink has now mostly recovered from the network outage, which lasted approximately 2.5 hours.  The outage was due to failure of key internal software services that operate the core network.  We apologize for the temporary disruption in our service; we are deeply committed to providing a highly reliable network, and will fully root cause this issue and ensure it does not occur again.
Starlink is currently in a network outage and we are actively implementing a solution. We appreciate your patience, we'll share an update once this issue is resolved.

Preliminary data suggests that a nitrogen COPV in the payload bay failed below its proof pressure. If further investigation confirms that this is what happened, it is the first time ever for this design.

On Wednesday, June 18 at approximately 11 p.m. CT, the Starship preparing for the tenth flight test experienced a major anomaly while on a test stand at Starbase. A safety clear area around the site was maintained throughout the operation and all personnel are safe and accounted for. Our Starbase team is actively working to safe the test site and the immediate surrounding area in conjunction with local officials. There are no hazards to residents in surrounding communities, and we ask that individuals do not attempt to approach the area while safing operations continue

Starship made it to the scheduled ship engine cutoff, so big improvement over last flight! Also, no significant loss of heat shield tiles during ascent. Leaks caused loss of main tank pressure during the coast and re-entry phase. Lot of good data to review. Launch cadence for next 3 flights will be faster, at approximately 1 every 3 to 4 weeks.

With a test like this, success comes from what we learn, and today’s flight will help us improve Starship’s reliability. We will conduct a thorough investigation, in coordination with the FAA, and implement corrective actions to make improvements on future Starship flight tests → spacex.com/launches/mission/…

During Starship's ascent burn, the vehicle experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly and contact was lost. Our team immediately began coordination with safety officials to implement pre-planned contingency responses. We will review the data from today's flight test to better understand root cause. As always, success comes from what we learn, and today’s flight will offer additional lessons to improve Starship's reliability.
