Weekend lewks. Please clap

I thrive from covering industry events, from conventions to invite-only press events. As tiring as it may be, I love to jump between appointments, and I'm gleeful at the prospect of asking deeper questions straight to developers and finding a compelling story out of it.

As a reviewer, I aim to look at unique angles, deeper into the intent and less at the surface level. I'm big into meta-criticisms, whether it's examining why we overuse the word "satisfied," or why we start having GotY discourse as early as January. chriscompendio.com/reviews/g…

This just about covers my bylines from the past six years. I've been in roles that had me write 5-10 news stories a day, attend cons to cover demos and interview devs, and manage a team of 30+ writers. I've worked on all levels: freelancer, staff, editor, and manager.
