I was going to go to Kusama's exhibition at the Tate a couple of years back until I learned about this.
I also felt uncomfortable with the raising of the point that she struggled with mental illness and yet didn't seem to dislike any other marginalised group, only Black people.

I miss when DJs were the quiet ones, the nerds who were obsessed with the music, creating experiences & telling stories. Social media killed the DJ and the ones who “make it” are mostly obsessed with themselves & attention - the exact people who I became a raver to avoid.
