⁦@dbremer_pxp⁩ Regarding the 2022 ball. 538 did an analysis of home runs by EV. So balls with EV from 112-114, only 89% are HR’s vs 97% 2017-21. The actual EV suggest hardness and weight (humidor) or Temp are not the cause. Most likely drag.

@chucknicecomic I listened to the podcast on the Olympics. You ranted about golf being a sport and golfers being athletes. You would probably prefer Speedgolf, where players run and carry their own clubs. The ISGA is starting a push to add Speedgolf to the Olympics.

One of my earliest memories: My grandfather, Bower Hawthorne, was editor of the @StarTribune. At his 60th birthday party, Senator #WalterMondale arrived. I was four or five. I sat on Sen. Mondale’s lap and did my impression of Fonzie: “Ayyyyy.”
