We have something exciting to share from @Conception.
We generated human early egg cells (primary oocytes) from stem cells through in vitro gametogenesis, or IVG.

I’m so excited to share this update on @Conception –
We’ve generated the first early human eggs derived from stem cells.
This is a big deal -- the potential to redefine fertility is real.
This technology could be one of the most significant of our lifetimes.
It has been proven in mice through live healthy birth.
And it has the potential to significantly expand the age women can have children, prevent disease, and dramatically expand options for family planning.
After a simple blood draw, we converted blood cells into stem cells, and then coaxed those stem cells into becoming miniature human ovaries that contain the early eggs.
While there is still work ahead (especially evaluating future safety), this is a major scientific advance.
Conception’s mission is to turn stem cells into human eggs and redefine fertility.
We have an exciting update - we've generated the first early human egg cells derived from stem cells.
