A real-terms decrease of 2.8% (£619 million) for Scottish local authorities will mean a cold wind blowing for the Scottish third sector and hard times for citizens who rely on that support. We so badly need an equitable funding regime for the third sector in Scotland @TSIScotNet
Whilst no council was at immediate financial risk in 2022/23, there’s no certainty this will continue. An agreement with @scotgov to secure a sustainable, longer-term funding arrangement to deliver local services is all the more urgent.

I am *still* hearing about school proudly announcing their plans to build flexible, open-plan learning spaces with no walls etc, and my advice to anyone thinking about doing this is do not do this.
