Connie's Orchid Pond

So no more pond or orchids. I woke up Friday with a left leg that has gone awol. It's been coming for awhile, but it's time gimpy sits down. Hopefully the specialists can help with the pain. I will update you all soon. #SeeYahSoon #Bleep

From my neighborhood: nextdoor.com/p/WGbPhjPbf6Jr?… I'm sharing this with every outlet I can. If you are in Pinellas County Florida you want this team on your job! #landscapers

Some people whine they have nothing to do and no friends. This lady got some manikin's and started a band. These are my new favorite videos ever! Grandma Marla's lip-synching video #920. The Byrds singing Turn Turn Turn. youtu.be/A8pRRWumBeg via @YouTube

It's hard to see in the bag, but the larger koi is a half and half. Right at the midline it's split. The bottom is mostly creamsicle and up top that black gin rin with some red. #ButterflyKoiPond In the pond that mix of color is gorgeous!

Now that the standard koi have been removed the smaller butterfly koi are going to be added. This one and another larger oddball joined the #ButterflyKoiPond today. Next will be the fry. It's an exciting time at the pond.

The monster #Dendrobium got dragged out and sat next to the pond. It's one happy plant! That fish pond water is doing it's job. #orchids #flowers

The pond is now officially the butterfly koi pond. There was a huge clean out today. Soon baby butterfly koi will arrive. It should be much more colorful and easier to clean. #ButterflyKoi #pond

Need some new tunes to chill with while the world goes off the rails? These guys are #brandnewmusic that for some reason I'm hooked on. Just had to share them... #chillvibe Spooky (Cover) feat. Ani Khajadourian and Zeev Nitzan Ginsburg youtu.be/CgYXXKWGfMg via @YouTube

Almost finished. She needs a name and a few little touches. #pointillism #popart #circlism #acrylicpainting

Meanwhile, back at the desk. The sun is setting... #pointillism #circlism #acrylicpainting

It was time to get some new eyes on the front door. The new security system is up and running. #frontdoorsecuritysystem #orchids

Water cascades off my shade cloth into the dendrobium pots. Even Den. Lorrie Mortimer is getting going for the summer. #Dendrobium #Cattleya #Vanda #flowers

#Dendrobium season is here and it's spiking gorgeous! I love growing Dendrobiums in Florida. Sit near a watering head and put slightly under the eaves shadow and bam, spikes! #flowers #orchids

The greenhouse pond loves it's water lilies. Time to put a second pond on the side for another color water lily. #greenhouse #waterlilies #flowers

#happymothersday2023 ! This arrived today; hand carried by a friend. He is so talented and I'm so excited to have it in my home. #Art #ArtTherapyGroup I love it...it's so my colors!

#Stolen This is the funniest bleepin' thing I've seen all week. Sat and giggled like an idiot for way too long. #BearyScary

Tomorrow I visit a koi store and begin the "trade big standard koi for little butterfly koi", time. Then I hire a landscaper to clean up and spray the orchids. Then it's on painting till my eyes bug out. Late Spring And Time To Do A Koi Sale youtu.be/aD7W2p7AJwk via @YouTube

Vanda brunea is another scented orchid that I love. The color on this one is just as amazing from the back as from the front. #orchids #Vanda #flowers

#Brassavola nodosa 'Lucky' x Brassavola cucullata 'Primera' (appendiculata) is the long way to say B Yaki. I must have snagged this at Art Stone awhile back. Lucky me! #orchids #flowers

Vanda tessellata x Yip Sum Wah is the gorgeous new little flowers opening up. The scent is just so sweet. I could smell it before I got to the plant. #Vanda #orchids #flowers
