Normally lineman are responsible for linemen in pass pro and running backs are responsible for anything second / third level (LBs / safeties) in 6 man protection .. 5 man is different - o line are responsible for the down lineman and perceived most dangerous blitz threat.. if defense blitzes opposite of the ID it makes the o line rules funky in 5 man pro
