Meet the inaugural winner of the Conquer Cancer®-Veracyte Endowed Young Investigator Award in Breast Cancer Genomics: Dr. Alexandra (Bili) Newman!
Dr. Newman is currently finishing her second year of a three-year fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, with a clinical and research focus on #BreastCancer.
Her YIA project focuses on the role of post-transcriptional PTEN loss as a predictive biomarker of response to PI3K-targeted agents in advanced hormone-receptor positive breast cancer.
