As a veteran, I find the timing of Islamophobia Awareness Month during our Remembrance period deeply offensive.
November is when Britain pauses to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedoms. Yet, against that backdrop, we are being asked to devote an entire month to a campaign that risks framing legitimate concerns about Islamist extremism as prejudice.
This is no coincidence. The timing and messaging deserve serious scrutiny. It risks obscuring a very real and uncomfortable history: terrorist attacks carried out in the name of Islam, including by British-born extremists who have murdered and scarred innocent people on our own streets.
We should be able to remember our fallen, acknowledge the threat of Islamist terrorism and challenge genuine prejudice without one being used to silence discussion of the other.
I find the timing distasteful, the messaging deeply questionable and the implications for national security impossible to ignore.
I will not be posting an “Awareness” post on Sunday. Out of respect for our fallen, Remembrance Sunday deserves our undivided attention.

Today we step out of the UK for a bit but don’t need to go far to see the fruits of Islam as we go to France and
remember the victims of the November 2015 Paris attacks
On 13 November 2015 in Paris a team of Islamic terrorists from ISIS carried out coordinated attacks across the city. They hit the Bataclan theatre during a concert, multiple cafes and restaurants, and the area near the Stade de France.
They murdered 130 people and left hundreds more injured.
The attackers were radicalised by Islamic ideology and ISIS claimed the whole thing.
Most of them were killed that night. One scumbag survived and was later convicted.
This is what Islamic ideology produces. Killers who deliberately target civilians at concerts, cafes and public places across Europe because they hate the West and everything it stands for.
As I always say, Fuck Islam. Fuck the ideology that turns men into mass murderers of ordinary people. Fuck everyone who still pretends this has nothing to do with the doctrine.
RIP to the 130 victims.

Grim news. Burnham has signed us up to 'time-bound' talks on a slavery apology. I have tabled a parliamentary motion calling for the opposite...
Here's what it demands.
- No apologies from the House of Commons for Britain's historical involvement in slavery.
- Not one penny in slavery reparations from British taxpayers.
- Official recognition and gratitude from these African/Caribbean nations for Britain's role in abolishing the slave trade and the sacrifices of Royal Navy sailors.
- Immediate termination of all British foreign aid, development assistance and taxpayer-funded grants to countries whose governments demand slavery reparations.
- A ban on UK visas for citizens of countries whose governments make such demands.
- An end to national self-flagellation over Britain's history, and pride in our country's contribution to abolishing the slave trade.
All MPs have been invited to support.
Not one has signed, so far.

A Muslim man asks what would happen to the UK if all brown and black people left tomorrow.
The irony is that the state we’re in—especially the NHS and the struggle for appointments—is largely the result of mass immigration in the first place.
We could manage without takeaways, curry shops, Uber drivers, taxis, and Eid in the park. The rest of his points are idiotic. We’re a nation that helped shape and create the modern world; somehow we’d manage.
