A foggy morning start to the day at Conservation Blueprint. This is just another example of why this is such a great place to work and support conservation.

The seed harvest season is red-hot right now and there are not enough days in the week to collect everything we need to fulfill seed orders! We are at 105 species collected for the season and still adding to the list. Check out the white board and all of the species we are currently harvesting. #Prairie #Wildflowers #NativeSeeds #NativePlants #Pollinators

If you haven't ever really experienced the annual migration....get out there before it's too late! The Conservation Blueprint team has been busy tagging butterflies, and we have an upcoming 'Behind The Screens' episode where we will show how it all happens. #monarchbutterflies #migration

Conservation Blueprint is in Mills County, Iowa tonight supporting another solar project at a permit hearing. This project is with solar developer Orion Renewables. LOTS of positive comments about the site tonight. We are pleased to testify about how the vegetation that we designed can deliver multiple environmental benefits for decades to come. The Folsom Lake solar site Conditional Use Permit was approved on a vote of 5-0 for this 800MW project. #solarenergy #solarpower #solarsystem #solar #EnvironmentalStewardship

Proud Employer Moment. Today, one of our employees heads off to college. Aaron Mack has worked with Conservation Blueprint since November 2022, and we've watched him grow into a young man that is ready to pursue a new, exciting chapter in life and we hope he grabs the world by its heals and shakes it up a bit. One of the greatest rewards we have here is working with youth to help develop a work ethic, a passion for nature and the environment, the ability to ask questions, learn from mistakes and grow into young adults with a wide horizon in front of them. Aaron checks all of those boxes. Well done grasshopper........it's time for you to go.
