American families are struggling with the cost of living. They deserve honest answers about inflation, energy, housing, government spending and economic policy—not an advert trying to make Israel the villain every time someone reaches the supermarket checkout. And @cenkuygur the swatting pig , if you want to talk about American taxpayers’ money, let’s talk about ALL foreign aid! 🇯🇴 America provides billions in assistance to Jordan and supports other countries, too. So why single out Israel? 🇮🇱 What does America get in return from Israel? Intelligence cooperation, military technology, missile-defence cooperation and a strategic partner in a dangerous region. Much of America’s military assistance to Israel is spent on American-made defence equipment, supporting US jobs and industry. Benjamin Netanyahu has also discussed reducing Israel’s dependence on American military aid over time. That deserves an honest discussion based on his actual words, not political spin. Americans have every right to debate foreign aid. But if you want to question how taxpayers’ money is spent, question ALL foreign aid fairly. And here’s the really telling part: the campaign of Abdul El-Sayed distanced itself from Cenk’s advert. Cenk, bring the economic evidence. Explain the policies. Show the numbers. But turning Israel into the scapegoat for American hardship? That is not serious economic analysis. Blaming Jews for society’s problems is one of the oldest and ugliest forms of antisemitism. Criticise Israeli government policy if you wish. But stop using Israel as a convenient punching bag for every problem under the sun. America deserves better. Jewish people deserve better. And voters deserve to be treated as intelligent human beings, not manipulated with cheap political tricks.
