Iโm the one youโre trying to entertain.
And I am telling you clearly: I love the art, I love the drama, I love the wildnessโฆ but I am not here to watch you die for my fun.
The ugly part of this business is built on exactly the opposite assumption: that we, fans, are bloodthirsty, that we want trainwrecks, that the only way to hold our attention is to keep escalating how close to catastrophe you get.
So let me stand up and push against that lie: โNo, my pop is not worth your neck. Next time someone suggests you a stupid bump, remember this: not everyone is here for the gladiator shit.โ

What are they doing over in #WWE? Holy shit, this is bad! At this point, fear of the Saudi government's anger is stronger than fear of dying in a warzone. You don't just say "no" to a government that is known to brutally murder those it does not like.
At least with an airstrike you die fast, which might not be an option with the alternative.
Everyone is screaming about corporate greed, but the truth is nobody has a choice here. From the top @TKOGrp executives who were cornered into this contract, down to the talent trapped on the card, sportswashing isn't an enthusiastic business decision. It's a forced mandate. It is an offer you physically cannot refuse.
It's not about the money, and, frankly, never has been; it's about survival.
